About the lettering
Pepsi's 2023 redesign put a bold wordmark back inside the red, white and blue globe for the first time in decades, replacing the lighter lowercase lettering of the 2008-era globe. The lettering is custom, PepsiCo has not named a brand typeface for it, and earlier globe-era versions used their own custom italic lettering, referred to in logo histories as Pepsi Light. The 2023 lettering itself was drawn by Ian Brignell from a modified cut of Owners, the MCKL typeface, the result is referred to as Pepsi Owners.
