Mortal Kombat - SNES
The lettering of Mortal Kombat - SNES, from font.lol extraction, by font.lol.
font.lol extraction, Nov 2026: read directly from the Mortal Kombat.smc cartridge (ROM MD5 0934878bb5ef33f25c1fcaba18a1105b); its glyphs are 8x16 cells assembled from a shared SNES 2bpp tile pool at file offset 0x124100 through (top tile, bottom tile) index pairs in a table at file offset 0x1250F2, the arrangement the game's string printer at $98:EE08 reads; there is no contiguous tile bank to scan. The game prints uppercase only, so no lowercase exists in the source. The angle brackets are exchanged in the source data itself: the less-than slot is drawn point-right and the greater-than slot point-left, and the build reproduces them as drawn.
Charset map
Every candidate codepoint for this character set, drawn where the font covers it and left as an empty box where it does not. Gaps are shown as gaps: a conversion that never had a lowercase is not dressed up as one.
