Provenance

This design was found inside FB-ICEFT.TDF, itself inside FB-ICEFT.ZIP, itself inside FB-TDFNT.ZIP, itself inside the top-level pack ciapak19.zip. The first pass over the archive inventoried top-level files only, so it took the recursive pass, which opened 2,456 of the 2,464 nested archives in the 4,019-pack archive, to reach it. The top-level pack is a main tree pack from 1994. The extracted file is held byte-identical to its pack copy, and the recursive pass found no other sighting of this design anywhere in the archive.

One of eight TheDraw fonts Frost Byte of CiA released inside CiA Pack #19 (December 1994), each in its own ZIP inside FB-TDFNT.ZIP and each carrying the same printed credit: 'This is a font for TheDraw done by: Frost Byte'. Frost Byte was a CiA member and the group's literary co-ordinator; the pack's member list and info file both name him.
