About the lettering

This record covers the word 'SUPERMAN' as set on the 2025 film's posters and standees, in bold silver capitals beneath the shield. The S shield itself is a separate piece of custom emblem artwork (redrawn for this film, with a much-discussed simplified S) and is not type at all.

Common questions

What font is used in Superman (2025)?

The title font has not been officially identified; per the Superman Homepage it appears to be a close match to Ultimatum MFV Mass Bold, with a slightly different S.

Is the Superman 2025 font the same as the classic Superman font?

No. The 2025 posters use a new, more futuristic title treatment in bold silver lettering, distinct from the classic comic and 1978 film lettering.

What font is the Superman S logo?

The shield is custom emblem artwork, not a font, and this film's version was redrawn with a simplified S.
