About the lettering
Wikipedia's Handel Gothic article documents that Bungie used the typeface in Halo: Combat Evolved (2001) for the in-game menus and the instruction manual, giving the young franchise its techy interface voice. The connection stuck: 343 Industries, the studio that took over the series, has used Handel Gothic in its logo since Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary in 2011.
